JOB CARD TEMPLATES

Job Card Templates allow for repetitive Job Card data population. Templates can automatically bring forward information such as tool, part, and labor requirements as well as, reference material and supporting documentation.

The Job Card Template is a required link between MRB Tasks and Check Group profiles from the Inspection Documents Module and the tracking Inspections in Item Management.

Adding a Template

  1. Click on Planning & Production and select Job Card Templates from the pull down and click Go.
  1. Click Add Job Card Template.
  1. Choose the type of template to be created.
  1. For Part Number Specific templates, search for a part number with an Applicable Installation. If the part number being used does not have an applicable installation, one can be added by clicking the Add button.
  1. For Generic templates, enter a description.
  1. Click Create Jobcard Template.

Note: For templates created using a part number, the constraint information for that part number will be brought forward from Item Management. Generic templates are to be used for creating Job Card Templates for items that do not have constraint information.

Finding a Template

  1. Click on Planning & Production and select Job Card Templates from the pull down and click Go.
  1. Click Find.
  1. Select a search type from the pull down.
  1. Select Span all Applicable Installations if the search needs to include multiple installations.
  1. Enter in an ATA, Part Description, or Part Number to search for and click Find.
  1. Select a search result and click Goto.
  1. The search will bring up the template on the right side of the screen and the page where it is listed on the left side.
